Hi, since yesterday my cdrewriter won't toast anymore.

The light that indicates the cdrw is READING is constantly burning while it shouldn't. Everything else indicates a reading toaster..So..now it spits out all empty cdr's and says that it needs a recordable cd !

The selftest of the drive reports a sensekey Hardware-error.

I no longer have warranty on it so I am very dependant on you guys. Should I bin it and buy a new one ( I am short on cash) or can I fix it? (please tell me I can)
