To say that I'm annoyed with Microsoft is probably an understatement.

OSX has been on the shelves for almost a year, and Microsoft has still not released friggin' drivers for their Intellimice. As someone who supports Microsoft's committment to the Mac platform, I find this to be extremely disappointing.

Is it too much to ask that Microsoft release updated drivers that support Apple's default operating system?

(If you know anyone in the Mac Business Group, please pass this post along...)

Thanks!

Contour's been promising the Overdrive Drivers for their mice, UniMouse & MiniMouse Pro for me, since before MWNY last year and still not a damn thing!

Kensington has X drivers for their mice! MS even has a X ONLY version of Office, obviously they know of its existence. My only chance is to wait for X version of USB overdrive.

I don't care about buttons so much.... I just wish/hope that Microsoft's OSX mouse driver will fix some of OSX's overall mousing goofiness.

You know what I'm talking about... mousing 'feels' more like Windows than a Mac...

Same here... more buttons are for games and they work in games

feels strange that when you move too fast you never know where the pointer will get! This is annoying!

Reports from Macworld say that they'll be out next month. Better late than never, I suppose. I was pumped when someone on the boards said that they would be released in December, but obviously that never happened. Since they're demoing the drivers at MWSF though, I'd imagine that the Feb. release date is for real.

You're telling me. As a Mac user I've gotten used to getting things very late and sometimes not at all (Half-Life) Looking forward to using the other buttons though, only had to wait 11 months this time!
