I've been transferring some of my data onto a firewire drive. 400gb with an enclosure. I had it pretty much full, and everything was peachy and i was able to use the data. I was transferring data back off and the data i copied off it no longer worked

I checked the data on the 400gb drive, it also no longer worked. I load up disk utility and notice the drive now reads 128gb. Some data I can read, other i cant.I try running verify and it complains that "the underlying task reported failure on exit." What happened and is the data totally screwed?

I noticed in disk utility, that the actual number of bytes is 137 billion. I know theres an issue with 137gb. It seems like any data after 137gb is unable to be read. Anything to check? Its formated in mac filesystem (journaled).

I plugged in a 250gb hd into the same enclosure and it accurately reports the size of this drive.
