I've searched these and other forums but I can't find any information on the setup I have, so I'll post the question...

I know scanner support in OS X is dicey at best, but I have an HP ScanJet 3c SCSI scanner that still works well and that I don't want to replace. However, it does not work under OS X or in Classic. I've tried VueScan, but that does not see the scanner either. HP's Web site, naturally, was no help at all.

My guess is that the scanner is just too old and there won't be any drivers for it in OS X. But before I budget for a new scanner, I keep wondering if there might be one stupid thing I haven't thought of.

The scanner is the only SCSI device on my G4 dual 450. It works fine if I start up in 9.2.

Come on, people, this is the ONE thing that is still forcing me to boot in 9.2! Thanks in advance for your help!
