I have to set up to webcams this summer at a festival. But one of the webcam will be abuot 200 meters away for the server. Any one know how to tix this, i have heard that usb only runs about 20 meters! It is a G3 that will connect the webcams.

If you are wanting to go 200 meters then you are not going to beable to use USB or any other Data port for that matter. If I were you I would get an USB A/V converter (XLR8 makes one) and use a normal A/V Cam (Normal A/V RCA out) and connect them together with 200 meters of Coax cable.

Just my thoughts....

Also has wireless cameras as well. I've seen theirs in operation, works quite well.
