I'm thinking of purchasing this and installing it into the Zip drive bay of my PowerMac AGP G4:

I'm concerned about compatibility issues with my G4 running 10.4.8. I've heard horror stories with deep sleep issues and other stability problems associated with USB/Firewire cards. But for $25 it might be worth the risk as it would be very handy to have these ports accessible from the front of the computer.

Anyone else already install this card?

Thanks,

lw

I think it is worth the risk. I have a usb2 card and a combo firewire usb 2 card in my MDD and it doesn't have any problems sleeping (anymore).
