I am going to purchase a replacement hard drive for a 12" G4 powerbook 1.33ghz.

I am at the store so I hope someone can reply soon. I see there are some notebooks drives that say PATA and others that say Ultra ATA and some that say EIDE.

Can someone tell me which one(s) will work in the 12" powerbook. Does it matter? The PATA and Ultra ATA appear to have a similar interface. Are they the same?

Thank you,

O
B unce!

P.S please only respond if you are pretty certain, it takes me over an hour to get to a Circuit City/Best Buy and I want to get this done tonight.

Ultra ATA=PATA=EIDE

do not get a SATA drive as they are only compatible with the newer MacBook (Pros)
