I bought a MicroTek scanner and I promptly returned it. I'm trying to remove the software. The software did not come with an unistall option, so I kind of picking through the installation log and removing files one by one. One of the things the the Installation log claims it installs is an extension called the "Appearance Extension", with a copyright date of 1998. I want to know if it's safe to just trash this extension, or was there an original one that MacOS 9 put there that I need to replace.
