I am thinking about buying a firewire drive for a video editing course I will be taking soon. I was wondering if anyone has some experiences to share. MacZone said there is a problem with these drives and OS 9 which Apple must solve. MacMall knows of no such problem. Any one have any light to shed on this topic. I was thinking of buying a Fantom drive from MacMall (20 Gig, $459). I have a G4/450.
