Got a Microsoft intellimouse explorer and returned it due to the size and heaviness. Need simple, comfortable 2 bottom usb mouse, preferably with scrolling for my new Powerbook. I'm thinking either logitech (the simple one), the XLR8 point and scroll, the Countour (no scroll wheel) or the Macally I mouse. I usually use just my thumb and ring finger on the sides of the mouse with the heel of the mouse resting on a wrist pad.

Oh I'm going to use it on both my Mac and PC (Win98) through a USB hub, if that matters.

I would suggest a regular Microsoft Intellimouse with Intellieye, i'm using it on my Lombard powerbook and i love it, the drivers are fast and stable and the mouse is really smooth.

I heartily endorse and use the XLR8 Point and Scroll. It is light (without feeling cheap), comfortable, easy to use and the drivers are stable and fast.

I've got one at home and I'm wanting to get one for work, too.
