Hello! I was wondering if anyone knows how to print a test page with a Laserwriter select 310? You know the one with the page count and stuff. I just got one and it doesn't have a manual, so i don't know how. Thanks!

Duboy,

if you didn't get a manual, did you get the software that accompanies the LaserWriter Select series?

There was a small (364K) application called LaserWriter Utility that you could use to issue commands to your printer--commands like "turn startup page on" or "off." The software also gave you interface to lighten or darken the amount of toner you were using (print density) and would report the number of pages as stored in the printer's RAM...

You might find it on Apple's website, or maybe some forum member would email it to you if you wrote and asked her.

peace,
Linda

yes, you can find the laserwriter util in the Apple Extras folder, i do believe it is still installed by default in MacOS 9.
