I recently installed a 75GB IBM Deskstar drive into my G4/500 and upon running the Drive Setup I am able to initialize it but it only shows about 32GB as the drive size - not the full 75GB. Do I need some firmware possibly as this could be an ATA/66 and ATA/100 conflict?

I am confused as to why this doesn't recognize the entire 75GB.

Thanks for any help!!!!

Your jumper settings on the drive are not set correctly. Refer to the IBM web site, or your instructions that came with the drive, (if there were any), for the proper settings for the jumpers.
