I have a VST bus powered 20 gig drive (just upgraded from 3 gig) that I like to keep attached to my Pismo even when in sleep mode. When I wake from sleep, it always give me the error message that "something is wrong with the FW hard drive - some data may have been lost." Now, I'm pretty sure that nothing's wrong on this drive, and that no data is actually missing or corrupted (Norton and TechTool Pro check it out fine), but what's going on? Is this a common thing with buspowered drives? Might it be becuase I'm not using VSTs driver? (I have a Lacie drive as well, and I use theirs)
