Even though you don't need a mouse pad, we have dark navy and white mouse pads at my job and some of the guys complain that their Apple pro mice skip around on them. Is it the dark to light combo? My macally iOptinet seems to work fine.

This is a known issue with the pro mouse. You best to use solid dark surfaces. (It hates wood grain!!!)

My Pro Mouse skips horribly on my wood desk, so I use my Calculus textbook as a mousepad. I knew math would come in handy someday!
