Hi!
I was wondering if you could help me with my dilema.
I can't decide between the MM-1000, Cambridge MicroWorks and Harmon Kardon's
SoundSticks.
Could you give me your thoughts on the matter?

Thanks,
Noam Friedman.

Get one of the Boston Acoustics sets.
http://www.bostonacoustics.com

They're the best.

Even, get two of the BA635's which are the lowest models - cheaper than the soundsticks, and ONE set alone sounds better. Hook 'em up via a minijack splitter (like a discman double adapter).

The BA635's are awesome.

I would definetely recommend the Soundsticks, these set of speakers look amazing beside your Mac - and the sound is just as amazing. I was so impressed when I saw/heard them for the first time after reading about them - I bought them right there!. You will not be dissapointed, they are worth the money. Can't go wrong with H.K. technology.

I went looking for the Boston Accoustics speakers and ended up buying the Klipsch ProMedia v.2. Unfortunately, they had just released the new ProMedia 4.1 system which seems to have everything that I feel is missing in the v.2.

Overall, i really like the Klipsch system (it works even better with the new SB Live! card I just got).

Having said that, there are times when I feel I should have gone with the Boston Accoustics. (But then, Cipher already recommended those.)

How do they compare to Cambridge Microworks, Monsoons, Klipsch and some of the other high end multimedia speakers? What are the best for music?

NOTHING compares to the Klipsch Promedia 4.1's. They are better than any other computer speakers and they'll give most stereos a run for their money.
