My Lacie external HD wont mount on my intel imac. it worked when i had my cube, then stopped shortly after i got the new imac. the computer shows it exists in the profiler and it shows up i the disk utility, though it wont verify or repair the disk. and when i turn the power off there is a high pitched whistle. what can i do? i read on here about sticking it int he freezer.
any help would be appreciated.
