I'd like some advice on this issue: I had been using an Epson 740i prior to finding an abandoned and completely functional LaserWriter 4/600 PS, which I hooked up via my griffin g4port on my gigabit G4 dual 450. The LaserWriter is working well in OS9.1 through the LaserWriter 8 driver, and so 'm thinking about making the 4/600 PS my primary printer and giving the 740i to my sister. However, I'd like to know what the prospects are for my LaserWriter working well with OSX, since I assume I'll eventually be switching over full-time. I suppose the printer's functionality is contingent on Griffin's support for their g4port, as well as Apple's support of the LaserWriter driver.

Any thoughts?
