I have a PlexWriter rw 4/2/20,
I'm the one who can never burn a CD because "The SCSI connection is not stable. Check your cables and terminaisons"

Finally, should I put the terminaison ON or OFF for an internal (alone) peripheral ????

any other suggestions to solve my problem?
(the Mac is a Umax Apus 2000)

thx

Termination on the last item in the chain should be "on". I'm not sure off the top of my head if this also applies when external devices are connected.

If you still have trouble (make sure you are setting the correct jumpers) you can buy an internal scsi terminator for a few bucks that might take care of the problem (they also come with diagnostic LEDs that can be helpful).

One other thing to check is to make sure that you don't have an ID conflict. Setting the burner to 5 or 6 is probably a safe bet.
