Does anyone who owns a Lacie 16/10/40 Firewire CD-RW have problems (system unresponsive) when powering-off the drive with no disk mounted or media in the tray? I know this is a problem with APS Tech drives (owned by Lacie) Is this an issue with any other manufacturers?

if you're having problems, try unplugging the drive before you turn it off (you can plug it in again once it's off).

Sorry - I should have been more clear. I don't own the drive yet (I want to find out some more info before I buy one). Do you know if this is a specific problem with the Lacie drive? Do other drives have this problem?
