Hi, I need help on a Router to share my cable modem with 2 computer( Mac & Pc ).
Any recommen?

just did it... like 20 mins ago...

I striped down a Powerwave 180Mhz PowerPC 604e to 20 MB of ram and a 700MB hard drive... and installed a second eithernet card

then downloaded ipnetrouter.... awsome and they had a set-up assistant

here's the deal... everything I've ever read about setting up a router with a machine requiers two eithernet ports...

so I had a machine laying around... and did it

if you don't have a spare machine then pick up a dsl/cable router I've seen them for under $100

A cheap (but effective) router can be had for less than $80. I'm partial to the SMC Barricade - excellent value, no-brainer setup. It's a better solution than software because you don't need to leave a machine on for it to work.

Get the infamous Linksys Router...
Plug it in and away you go... Very easy to use and I know tons of people (including myself) that swear by it....
