From deal-mac:
PS Que 8x/8x/32x CD-RW FireWire for $190 after rebate 12:07 pm
PC Warehouse trimmed its price on the QPS Que! 8x/8x/32x CD-RW FireWire drive, model no. QPCDRW8832FEM, to $219.99, $20 below any other merchant we could find. A $30 mail-in rebate knocks the net price down to $189.99. UPS Ground is $8.
Is this a good deal? I'm pretty sure this one works with iTunes. It says it comes with Toast, but does anyone know what version? Does it work with OS X?
Thanks

Depending on what mechanism this drive uses it may or may not work with iTunes. I think it does though as most if not all of the newer 12x drive work with iTunes. It'll work in OS X as a reader but not a writer, as burning isn't in OS X yet.

Thanks for your reply dfbennet!
Are there any extra costs that I should be aware of (Other than blank CDs) like a firewire cable or an extra power supply or anything?
So is this a good deal for a CD-RW or do you guys think I could do better? Speed isn't too much of an issue. I would just like to get a decent CD-RW with Toast at a good price. Do the Que drives usually come with Toast 3 or 4?
Thanks

I bought a Que!Fire 4x4x24 drive almost a year ago. It works with iTunes, but I don't use it. It came with toast 4.0 OEM. Toast 3.5 does not recognize firewire drives, so it won't be pre-4.0. The OEM version of Toast was pretty flakey about recognizing my drive. I never really got reliable recognition of the drive until I started using toast deluxe 4.1. I now use Toast 5, and couldn't be happier with hardware or the software (besides the OS X issue). My only complaint now is QPS's lame customer support. For example, their rebate was handled by a third party company, and it took 4 phone calls and three months for me to get the rebate, though as something-for-nothing, I can't really complain. Also, their firmware updates are PC-only, so to install the update you need to find a PC with firewire...
The drive should work straight out of the box. No hidden costs except more blanks (I go through them pretty quickly)

Thanks for the info!

So I guess I'll want to end up using Toast 5, which is like atleast another $80...
"Also, their firmware updates are PC-only, so to install the update you need to find a PC with firewire..."
That is unbelievable! Are the firmware updates really needed?
Now I'm thinking maybe a cheaper drive and I'll end up purchasing Toast 5....

Oh, yeah, I just ignored the firmware updates, because I really didn't have a problem. In hindsight, the firmware update might have fixed my problem with toast OEM...

If your using Toast Deluxe 5 or iTunes, you don't need the firmware update. I have a Que 8x4x32 and never ran into any problems by not updating my firmware.
And yes...$190 is a good deal for this drive. Hell I paid almost $400 for it a year ago. I don't think you'll find another firewire drive any cheaper. The only extra cost you have is in purchasing Toast 5. I don't think it's bundle with any drive yet but it's sure worth the $80. Everything else you need (firewire cable, 1 CDR disc, 1CDR-W disk, and even a carrying case) is bundled with the drive. It's definitely a great deal.
