I saw a few months ago on a news site (it might have been here on MacNN) a very interesting oval-shaped firewire hard drive (designed, if I remember right, with black or smokey colored plastics). I have been scouring the internet for the past week but can find no trace of the company or product. Of course, it would help if I remembered the name of the company, but I cannot. It is one of the sharpest Firewire drives I have seen, but made by a smaller company, and so not available at your typical Macintosh suppliers.

Does anyone out there recall this product, the company who makes it, and/or how to go about getting one?

Thanks.

Hello moorghan again,

please note that the FireLite and FireFly HDs do not have the currently leading Oxford 911 chipset, but another one by Texas Instruments.

Walter.
