Same question:

Where can I buy an FM transmitter in the UK?

I recently bought an iPod and I want to listen to it in the car and around the house, so I need something with a range of over 4ft.

The short answer is you can't since they're not legal under radio regulations here in the UK. You could order one from the US direct

I knew it. I had a feeling that was the case. Why else would their be so many transmitters available on US sites and not a single one on UK sites.

GRRRR

This country is so backwards. I think iv'e said that five times this month.

So build one. Its really not that hard and the parts are probably legal.
Great idea, BTW.

This primer should help you get started.

Great idea, i'll think about giving that a shot.

One problem. I don't think ive ever seen an electronics store in the UK. And Tandy was a joke, and i think its gone bust or something now anyway.

Where do I buy electronics components online? UK sites.
