Dell GX300 Dual CPU Motherboard Issues

I have a Dell Optiplex GX300 @ 733 MHZ; a dual cpu supported motherboard. I have recently acquired another 733 MHZ processor, but, the computer does not boot with both processors inserted into the board. I have tested both processors, and they work fine. I also checked the BIOS, ver. A02, and there was nothing there about enabling dual CPU support. Although, I was unable to find any jumper associations on the board. If anybody knows how to reslove this, I would be appreciative.

Remove the motherboard, internal drives, any PCI cards, and the processor from the case. Sell them on eBay. Throw away the power supply and case and any cables. Go to http://store.apple.com. Order a dual G4/533. Then come back to this forum and perhaps someone could help you if you have a problem with your new Mac. :-)

Never buy a Dell. MIS departments and contractors love'em because they are so cheap they break all the time. Means they can hire more people to fix 'em and make more $$ profit/budget. Not to mention the pleasent and charming personality of it's CEO.

to be honest, I actually have been finding this thread mildly amusing. in particular I am been quite pleased that it is so civilized. if there gets to be a pressing reason to lock it (like a flame war), I will. at this time there is not. there is also no real reason to move it to the Lounge. the Lounge isn't the only place where we're allowed to have a little fun, you know. 
if you guys think it should die, let it die.
oh, and why is it here to begin with? no idea!

Right...that is why you came here to ask us when you had no idea. Isn't Dell supposed to have wonderful 3 year support programs? Hrmm, or maybe you work at Rick's Computer Shack in the Back Bay and just unloaded this hot off a truck and need to get it working and sold fast before the cops catch up?
And I doubt it was complicated. Most likely in the manual if you read it, can you do that, did you get that far in school?
