Last year I got a Performa 6150 CD to give to some low income friends so they could get on the internet. Recently the monitor has become more and more out of focus to the point of being unreadable. My question is wether this is a bad monitor or problems with the video card in the computer. I don't want to get another monitor and then find out it is the video. Has anyone had any experience with this sort of problem?

Its not the video card, I gaurantee it. Well, just about.

Have you tried degaussing the monitor?

What kind of monitor is it?
