I understood that the latest osx update would be able to recognize scsi. I've got a yamaha cd-rw burner...and the adaptec 2906 scsi card. for some reason, even with the update, I can't get my computer to "see" it.
I had a simmilar problem. Just updated from 10.1 to 10.2 and now my external yamaha cdrw doesn't work (comp doesn't see it). It is connected via a PCI scsi card. Rebooted into 9 and didn't seem to work either... What gives?

anyone have any tips for me?
I've got a Yamaha burner (8424) hooked up to a 2906. It stopped working in 10.2 but was back in 10.2.1 - No problems at all. Have you updated to the latest Firmware and OS?
yes updated firmware and not working; i believe OS is updated fully. When i update the firmware do i just run the prog, or is there other things i have to do?
