the keyboard on my trusty yosemite g3 is about to give up the ghost. so the question goes out to you all here, has anyone found a decent replacement keyboard?
should I just buy the rather reasonably priced new graphite apple keyboard?
any better third party solutions?
thanks for your help!

ice, I've got the new apple pro keyboard, it's a really nice keyboard and since OS 9.1 was released it works on all USB macs now, it's a quiet keyboard with the same feel as the original iMac KB's, i'm very happy with it so far, that is my suggestion for you :-)

I like the volume keys on the new Pro keyboard, and I like the look of it. But after having it for five months, I still don't like the feel of it, and my typing accuracy and speed with it are not anywhere near what I easily achieve with my MacAlly iKey at work.... The keys feel too light for my tastes--I hit double letters much too easily.
But that's just me... Some of the other people on the forum seem ecstatic about it.
If I could afford a replacement, I would probably buy either the MacAlly or the Microsoft Natural Pro (I think that's the name of it--the one with the split keyboard).

I have a MacAlly iKey. Most people that I interact with directly don't realize that it is a keyswitch keyboard, but it is. It doesn't exactly have the feel of the trusty old Extended II keyboard, but it is remarkably responsive and has generally good feel. I also like that it isn't nearly as compact as the Apple Keyboards. Compact and small are nice, but having a full size footprint on your keyboard really improves my typing speed.
