Hi guys,

After receiving my first Mac (17" MBP) last week, I was looking around for TV card for my Mac.

I came across the EyeTV Hybrid on the Apple website which sounded great. It said that aswell as watching/recording/pausing/fastforwarding TV I could plug in my games console to it too.

I went ahead and bought the item and I must admit I am very pleased with it but there is one thing that I am not too happy with at all.

When I connected my PS2 to the unit the picture quality was very poor. It gave me motion sickness. I was trying to play FIFA 06 on it...(I apologise to all the PES fans) and I could barely look at the screen because it was sooo blurry.

Does anyone else have this product and this problem? Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Thanks in advance.

check resolution, check what codec you are using (you should be just using passthrough and the videogame mode...PS2 games are going to look worse on your monitor than they do on your TV because of the much higher rez of your monitor.

I want to get one just to use it with an Xbox 360 but figured it would look like crap. If it looks alright I might get one. I hope some other users can report back.

Could you take some screen grabs and post them up?
