Does anyone know of any large format (11x17) Firewire scanners? We have to replace some old SCSI scanners and we need the speed of Firewire.
Thanks.

The state of FireWire scanners (especially for OS X) is still kind of sad. I'd suggest a SCSI to USB converter for now; though I haven't priced any in a few months.

I did some searching, and so far the only one I've found so far was the HEIDELBERG SCANNER LINOSCAN 2650 SCSI/FIREWIRE - £6456.63. That was on a British web site. Works out to be around $10,000 American . There's got to be something less expensive out there.
