Does anyone on the forum have a link to information comparing Sandisk and Kingston Smart Media cards, or does anyone have any experience with these two brands? Specifically, I am looking for info on the 3.3v variety when used in a digital camera.

Thanks!!

Personally, I think smartmedia cards (and all types of flash media) are practically the same. There's no magnetic parts, and the contacts are made out of the same stuff, so I think the best deal is the best card.

I would agree with giantmike... I am sure that you will not go wrong with whichever you choose...

When I bought a compact flash card for my camera, I went with the cheapest I could find, which was Kingston at the time. It works great. I have other friends with CF or Smart Media cameras with cards from other companies that also have no problems. I agree, go with what's cheapest and has a good warranty.

Thanks, guys...

I found a 32MB Sandisk for $47.00 (u.s.) online. The best price locally was $71.00!

Appreciate the input.
