I have an iPod. I'm not overly concerned with scratching it, and I don't have a case for it. To preserve the aesthetics of my wonderful MP3 player, what would you use to buff out the screen on the iPod?

I didn't think steel wool or sandpaper were exceptionally great solutions.

This is a good scratch remover for all plastics...
Novus

Also, you can pick up Fellowes "WriteRight" transparent sheets at a local Staples....they cover the iPod nicely to avoid any scratches...

Well, there are minor scratches on the front, but the metal backing is loaded with them, and I have no idea how they got there. The metal on the back is extremely malleable, making scratches inevitable. Does anyone out there have the same problem as me? There could be a way to buff them out, though, because they are so annoying to look at (and I just got the damn thing).

i have some scratches on the screen, and a LOT on the back. i think it comes from the moving over the desk, the fat butterish hands that touch it, etcetera etcetera
