I think it would be quite cool to be able to have aftermarket covers for the iPod like Nokia has for its phones.

I know the back, metal piece is replaceable. However, I'm not sure the front is. Is the LCD stuck to the front piece, or can I swap the front piece out for another one?

I ask again. Is the LCD attached to the faceplate?

No to all of your questions.

It's not attached, but it's not designed to be Nokia-easy to replace it.

It is possible to create a new cover, right?

That's great news for me! Thanks, Nebrie.

I sure hope so. My metal backing is scratched as it is.

It would be interesting, though. I think I'd do the front in titanium.
