Guess I have played d2 a bit too much....heh

My adb original mouse button is having a very hard time registering mouseclicks all of a sudden, making it very hard to click on anything and lets not even talk about trying to drag things....

Anyway, does anyone know if it is possible to open up the mouse and "bend" whatever has been bent, back? I've already come to the conclusion that the mouse seems to be hard to open and forced opening is the only option (gee, what was a hard one . However, would it work? How should I open it and how do I fix whatever is wrong?

Im only asking this because I wanna give it a try before I go out and buy a new one. Sure, they arent *that* expensive, but even 20-40$ is alot for a student

So do does anyone know a good way to tackle the problem? Is it even possible?

Gotta screwdriver? I don't know how that mouse is held together, but you might be able to take it apart after disconnecting it from the computer and determine if you can fix it. If you completely bust it, then you're kinda committed.
Is this a good place for an argument?

You might want to try eBay. I have seen the old ADB mice go for just a few dollars.

The trick is that - at least with the old (beige) Apple mice, one screw is hidden under a sticker, which actually doesn't look like a sticker but printed text on the plastic.

Remove the sticker, unscrew the mouse - usually there's just dust between the mouse button and the microswitch. I "revived" at least a dozen mice this way - causing Apple's profit to shrink, er, by a couple of pennies, I guess ;-)
