Why can't I print to Custom Paper Sizes on my HP-5 MP LaserJet ? After upgrading to Mac OS 8.5.1 , the Chooser default printer driver is now Laserwriter. 8.6 instead of HP's own PostScript driver and utility. That's fine, except I no longer have the option to print to #10 Envelopes , among other custom media and paper sizes. HP's tech support said upgrading to Laserwriter 8.6 should have solved the problem, but did not. And the older HP drivers are no longer posted...but at least they printed to everything I could stuff into the printer using os 7.6.1

I really want to be able to print to envelopes, damnit !

Make sure that you have the correct PPD file selected in the LaserWriter driver - its the file that tells the driver what capabilities you have.

It should be available for download from HP if you don't already have it.
