I've got a revision A iBook SE running 9.0.4, an old 100 MB Zip drive, and a USB to SCSI adapter that came with an Orb (don't get me started on that... ) I'm wondering, can I connect the iBook to the Zip w/ the adapter, or might I fry something....?
If it's safe, does anyone know if there's a driver or an adapter I might need?
'Preciate it.

Do yourself a favor and don't be cheep and get a USB Zip instead of trying to cobble together something with parts you have hanging around. The only time I would even suggest using a scsi-usb adapter is if you purchased one from a peripheral manufacturer that made one for all SCSI devices. Otherwise, I would avoid where you are going because it is mostly unknown territory.
