'm trying to use my Epson 5700I laser printer over a network.

I have it hooked up to my G4, and now I want to be able to print from my G3 and iBook.

All the computers are running 9.2.1. I did everything that I was supposed to--copied the printer driver into both networked computers' extensions folder, enabled USB Printer Sharing on all computers, and when I try to get the Epson 5700I to be recognised in the choosers of the slave computers, I get that "Unable to read printer status" error.

I fear it's something to do with the Epson, because I have an HP inkjet also hooked up to the G4 and the other computers recognise it.

I downloaded something called "EpsonShare" but it seems to do nothing.

What's going on?
