A friend has an iMac (rev a I think bondi 233) and had an Epson Color Stylus 740 with cable. He threw the printer out onto his front lawn because he had so many problems with he. Now he has an HP Deskjet 932C and is using the Epson cable. Under 8.5 a document would print about 5 lines then that was it. So me being a good friend suggests that he get OS 9. Well after the upgrade and even going to 9.0.4 every time he tries to print he gets an "Application unexpectanty quit because of a
Type (3 i think) error.

Should he go back to 8.6 or other version?

Could the problem be with the Epson Cable?

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Try removing all Epson USB Print Class files from the Extensions folder. These files are buggy and unnecessary.
