Is it a Sony??? I have a sony mem stick reader (from sony) and it works fine in OS X? Do you have at least 10.0.4? I'm running 10.1 and everytime I pop in a memory stick, image capture opens up and asks where I want the files downloaded. Check if your model is on the list of compatible devices on Apple's image capture page. It's under the OSX tab under apps I think.. but look around.. you'll find it.

I guess that you have the same thing as I have. Is this the product you are talking about ?

I checked their website, and there is no USB driver for OS X. Let us complain to the company, and demand a driver for OS X.

I have Sony's memory stick reader also, which works for OS X (no driver installation needed, actually).

I don't remember where I got the information. I thought I got it from readme file, or just search the company name. I bought the thing from Fry's Electronics (big California electronic store), and like the compact size of it.

Now only if it supports OS X.

Does anyone have a link to info about the Sony devices? I'm looking for a reader/writer that can handle the SmartMedia cards my camera uses - but it has to work with OS X.
