Entrega USB-SCSI + CDRW + Toast + 9.0.4 help please!

	I just got my Pismo last week, and with it an Entrega (now Xircom) USB-SCSI adapter. I needed to the adapter to connect to my legacy scanner and APS 6X4X16 CDRW (SCSI). Using Toast 4.0.2 DLX and 9.0.4, I can't seem to burn a single CD. Tried 6x, 4x, 2x, and finally 1x. 1x is the only speed I was able to successfully write and verify, but nothing I pop the CD into will read the disc. I've tried with Mac Volume and Mac Files & Folders for the data. Has anyone had any luck using USB-SCSI converters for burning CDs?
