i'br got a Epson Color Stylus 800 hooked up to my G4 with the Epson USB to parallel cable. For some reason, the (USB Port 1) option is no longer showing up in the chooser under printer port, but the icon is still there.

I've done a clean install of all the Epson printer and USB drivers and software, dumped all the pref files, and still nothing. I've tried connecting directly to the G4 instead of through the hub, and nothing happened.

Any ideas? I'm beginning to think that storm yesterday that knocked out my cable connection also took out my printer.
