In my office I have a iMac and PC sharing a cable connection to the Internet through a 4 port hub. I have an Epson printer connected to the iMac via USB. Is there a way to share the printer with the PC also?

Problem

USB printers are not able to be shared on a Mac network. The Mac OS does not support that function without a third party printer sharing application.

Solution

The only way you can connect the printer on a network is through the print server such as AXIS by Epson. You can also connect the printer using USB to one Mac and use the USB to parallel cable for the other Mac. This will allow you to connect the printer to both computers but not network it.
