I have an iMac DV SE and would like to add a 4 port USB hub. Can larger peripherals work through a hub?
I wanted to run a printer, CDRW drive, and scanner through the hub.

Yes, it is better to get a powered hub! I have an entrega 4 port and have my printer and scanner connected to it with absolutely no problems! There are several old posts about this very topic and you may want to do a search! Hope this helps!
