Anyone having problems with an 8500 not staying active? This thing will let me print about 3 documents, then when I go to print again, the printer disappears. Drivers are current, did a clean install, tested ethernet v. localtalk and nothing seems to keep it working. It's been this way since day one.

Any ideas?

I have had the same problem and could not decide what the problem is. I have to just turn the printer off and then back on. After wating for one minute to prevent surges. Maybe someone else has more info on the subject.
