Apple's i2DVDBox combines Internet, DVD, MP3, and even interactive television technologies, all in one device. The i2DVD Box offers all the same features as a conventional DVD, including digital Dolby and composite and s-video outputs. The digital outputs are both optical and coaxial for compatibility with other home entertainment devices.
What is this?!?

do a search for i2DVDBox on google...
Seems that i2DVDBox are (were?) a small company that was supposed to show the box off last year at comdex. I dunno if they've been taken over by apple and now its apple's baby, but i cant seem to find anything about that

Hiya,
Hehe, this is the best one for a while.
I found this link.

I think this is the device that they are talking about. Boy, attributing it to Apple ... wierd.
Cheers!

From the aforementioned page... well obviously there is at least one change Apple would have to make, they would never ship something that needed a USB adapter like that!
If this does turn out to be Apple-bought out (which I figure is doubtful), I will kill myself if it does not also include TiVo like functionality.

Wow, this is weird. I think that people are getting confused, misguided information. as for me, 400 bucks for an iPod, apple better make sure that their next invention doesnt have the feature of buring holes in people's pockets.!

At the bottom of that ZDNET page...
This text clarifies an earlier version of the story, which stated incorrectly that the I2DVDBox was made by Apple Computer. ZDNet UK apologises for the error.

And yet MOSR hasn't taken it off its page yet. Somebody really needs to tell them. They're predicting we'll see this thing in Febrauary or March...and this was all pretty much just a type-o. How embarassing!
