Several posts here ask about the Espon & HP printers. Anyone have experience with the Canon 8200 or its large format sibling the 8500? Usage would be for photography & layout proofs, most likely in conjunction with PressReady.

The 8200's specs look great: 1200x1200 dpi, 6-color, individual ink cartridges, print heads incorporated into cartridges, USB.
What about: output quality? performance & speed, software? How does it compare to the Epson 870/1270?
