I have a DA 733 and right now there are (2) 200 GB Seagate PATA drives in addition to the primary HDD. It is used as a music/file server, but I was thinking about putting the HDDs in external enclosures instead. I was looking at:

or (2) ministacks

What do you guys think?

My first question would be why are you making them external?

For the ability to move between machines if necessary. For example, I still have a Windows box and one of its main functions is tagging and organizing flac files because flac support on the Mac is pitiful. It takes forever to do over the network. Also, to have the ability to move machines if I upgrade to a mini or something for a server in the future.
