Does anyone know if Apple TV would be able to strem music to the stereo like Airport Express does. The reason why I ask is that I do not want to have to switch on TV every time i want to listen to music. Does Apple TV show up in itunes as AirTunes station?...

Many Thanks.

I guess you will need the TV on so you can select the music you want.
I don;t think the Apple TV will be controllable from the computer end.

Good question indeed.

I don't see a reason why it would not work, or why Apple could not make it work.
Always having to turn on your TV would be a unnecessary step.
