I got a MBP on the way and I was thinking about getting a Bluetooth mouse and possibly some headphones. I was checking out the MX900, but I'm having a hard time finding the mouse in stock. I was also checking out the Motorola HT820 Bluetooth stereo headphones. But, I wouldn't be using any of the cell phone buttons or capabilities.

Does anyone have any experience with these 2 products or opinions about any other Bluetooth headphones or mice?

i use mx900 with my macbook pro. great mouse. you can't use all of the buttons on it in OS X you have to get gamepad companion and manualy assing buttons. i use rechargeble batteries they last about 3.5 days with medium usage, what sucks about it is it does not have a switch on it to save batteries. but other then that its perfect. i don't think you can buy this mouse by it self, it comes with e keyboard. i got mine on ebay for a great price. i would also recomend MX1000 with has the swich on it and also higher DPI and its laser where MX900 is optical. i hope this helps you.

The reason I wanted to go with the mx900 and bluetoth was because I was hoping to avoid the usb dongle hanging off my laptop. I also read that its a bummer that the MX900 doesn't have an on/off switch as you know first hand. Unfortunatly the MX1000 uses RF and thus I'd need the dongle The Logitech V270 has an on/off switch and uses bluetooh. But, the reason I liked the MX900 was that it is a full sized mouse with great comfort. And since the V270 doesn't look very comfortable and I think its a 'travel size' I'd rather keep searching.

Why are there so many RF wireless mice and so few Bluetooth mice?

mx1000 come in RF version and bluetooth version. bluetooth version comes with a keyboard in one package which is like $149. but you can get it on ebay for like $60 keyboard and mouse. or if you look hard enough you can find just the mouse for cheaper.

wow, I didn't know that. I thought it was RF only, I'll have to look into that.

Thanks a bunch!
