HELP!!! I desperately need a new digital camera. My current one (Epson Photo PC 650) is junk! My budget max is $400. Can anyone help with recommending a purchase? Thanks!
EDIT: How stupid am I?!?!? Sorry about the double TOPIC post!

Go to =CAN&popup1_attr_id[]=975&popup5_attr_id[]=140&hi_p=400&popup6_attr_id[]=292&ut=d5d59c410dfc9 863&sortby=priceA&ut=d5d59c410dfc9863]Pricegrabber.com and check out all the Canon cameras. I like these the most:
S110 digital elph - small, stylish, yet feature packed
S300 digital elph - in many ways the same as above, older
S20 powershot - Very powerfull, 3.3MP, can use IBM's Microdrives, bigger than the others though...
All of these can be found for under $400 and the Canon software for os 9 is great I think. Very intuitive... Works wonderfully with OS X's Image Capture too.
Cheers...
ps. I'm a professional photographer
Edit: Whoops... the url seems to be too long ... just filter the results that show using Manufacturer = Canon and Max Price = $400

I've been very happy with Kodak. The DX3600 is a pretty nice camera in the range you're looking for (list around $299).

I went through the same thing recently. Time to retire my wife's Kodak 210, so we can use USB and OS X. After much looking, and thinking I would go with a Canon [which are not available for under $100; must be a typo], I went with Nikon Coolpix 227 for about $375.
It's excellent, and ounce for ounce, had more features than the comparable Canon, which I still like. May not be as cool, but my wife is definitely a pragmatist!
