I have a Mac G4, and the keyboard and mouse that came with it. I will be getting a PentiumIII PC in the near future. I have a Mitsubish monitor that would allow me to switch between these two CPUs and share USB devises through its built-in USB hubs.
My question : Is there any USB keyboard (and mouse) that would work with both Mac and PC, and come with softwares for both systems? I really need that so I can use the same keyboard and mouse for both computers.

huang, I have tried my apple USB keyboard that came with an iMac on a pentium II running windows 2000 (or 98, i don' remmeber) and it worked, perhaps the mouse will as well? :-)

Since most USB keyboards and mice are made for Windows systems in the first place, and most have drivers for Mac, it shouldn't be too difficult. As someone here said, the Apple keyboard works with Windows, and I know I've used the Logitech MouseMan Wheel on both PC and Mac. It's a good mouse anyway, so might be worth a look.

Tho' I'm sure that fancy new MS Intellimouse Explorer would work splendidly as well, and since you're already tainting your household with MS products, it's gotten good reviews.
